My PC Makes Me Mad…
Then, it hit me. I was using a device driver made by Solidigm. Wondering if that might be the issue, I decided to delete it through Device Manager. I had read in a blog that deleting it would automatically install the standard driver. But then, my PC wouldn’t boot at all. At that moment, I thought it was because the device driver wasn't installed.
So, I spent about two hours trying to figure out how to install a device driver without having a device driver. No luck. Just as I was about to give up and consider reinstalling everything, I noticed a "safe mode" option on the Blue Screen during boot. I tried it, not expecting much, and to my surprise, the PC booted up. Why?
When I checked Device Manager, there was a standard NVMe driver. Again, why? After a reboot, my PC started up normally. I'm so done with this. Sometimes, Windows can be incredibly frustrating.
